We purpose to equip the saints for the work of service to the building up of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12) encouraging all towards the good works He has prepared for them. We will entrust the oversight of ministry to faithful men in equipping men for good works. We commit to teach a biblical masculinity and feminity. We will encourage men toward faithful shepherding leadership in the home and in the church (2 Timothy 2:2). Women are encouraged to fulfill their role according to Titus 2:3-5. We hold to an age-integrated philosophy of discipling our young people.
We fully embrace the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). We purpose to equip, train, and encourage the body toward a heart for the lost and a prayerful posture and spiritual readiness to share the gospel boldly (Colossians 4:5-6; 1 Peter 2:9; 3:15). Our desire is that each individual and household would initiate compassionate care and evangelism towards the opportunities God provides them.
The Biblical mandate to discipleship is expressed in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) as central to the work of the church. Under the authority of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we seek to make disciples of all nations by first making disciples here where we live and worship. We focus on the teachings of the Scripture as the definitive authority on all that Jesus commanded us, and with full confidence that he is with us through the indwelling presence of his Holy Spirit.
We focus on the discipleship of the adults within the body, with the understanding that the adults are to do the work of the ministry with the children God has given them in families, as well as other adults that the Lord will send. We seek to disciple the body for the work of the ministry as expressed in Ephesians 4:12.
Older women are to teach the younger women what is good, to lead them in the disciplines and life patterns that Scripture provides for godly women, within the context and grace of the gospel. This is so that God may be glorified in their lives, and the Word of God may be upheld. (Titus 2:3-5) As such, the Women's Ministries is a combination of women-led Bible Studies, one-on-one and small group discipleship, special training in various helps and ministry opportunities, as well as in many opportunities to serve with other older and experienced women.
